Car description |

Chevrolet Chevy Bel Air original V* 283 with cast iron power glide trans. Condition is Used. This car is a rescue that I got from the original family member whose grand father purchased the car brand new from a local dealer. The dealers son remembered the car and the customer from way back then and you can contact them for the original sales documents if you want.
It is rough. Mostly complete though. The original engine and transmission are in it and it has never been removed. The front of the engine was removed down to the timing gears for some reason and never reassembled. All the parts and chrome are on it with a few emblems missing. The Bel Air emblems from the rear quarters are gone. The chrome strip from the left rear quarter is also gone. The dash is intact with the knobs and controls still in place. Seats need complete reupholster and interior needs replaced. The driveshaft is gone. The spare tire and jack with handle are in the trunk. As I said, this car was a one owner rescue and needs a complete frame off restoration IMO.Take a look at the photos and judge for yourself if this is the right car for you.The pictures speak for themselves. You can view it in Iowa at my farm if you are able. Otherwise you have to arrange shipping. I will help load it on a car hauler if you hire one.
