Car description

Up for your consideration is this slammed 1948 Streetrod truck. This pickup is built correctly - not one of those shade tree S-10 swaps that are out there. The truck is in excellent mechanical condition and has been thoroughly gone through. The 4 wheel power disc brake system has been entirely built including master cylinder, pads, and lines. Inside the engine bay is a new GM Crate 350 with a choppy cam, aluminum radiator, power steering, 700R4 transmission, Flowmaster exhaust, and a remote fuel cell under the wood bed. There are no bags or tanks to maintain with the properly installed Heidts front tubular rack and piñon system. Thanks to Heidts and a positive traction rear with lowering blocks this truck cruises at 75 mph like a new Z71. New front and rear glass surround the cab leaving both side windows to their original patina and some cracks (I liked the look). As you can see from the pics, the interior is an immaculate leather with those classic "truck seat" inserts. New carpet, door panels, kick panels, banjo steering wheel, tilt column, and vintage gauges round out the cab. The truck has an "original style" headliner to keep that old school feel. She hasthe patina "rust through" on the running boards and on the inside of the door bottoms. Check out the custom leather covers on the door bottoms. The cab is solid including the floors, original cab corners, and the infamous right rocker battery area. Don't be confused with the running boards and the door bottoms - this is not a rat rod. You can jump up and down on these boards. The detailed interior, engine, suspension, and firewall tell the story of those who know what you are bidding on.
