Car description |
---|
this is a 1970 camaro sport coupe. it's a running driving project. for it's age it's in very very solid condition. excellent starting point. the only real rust to speak of, would be pinholes in the tail panel, and parts of the trunk are thin, and has some pin holes. other than that, the quarters, floors, rockers, cowl area are super solid, and original.
the previous owner decided to try his hand at some amateur body work, so there are some spots of fresh filler (bondo) that need to be dealt with, but nothing major at all, and they are all obvious, because they aren't painted. and there's nothing super deep. i honestly have no clue why they are there. it's not like the car is banged up, or rusty.
the car runs and drives fairly well, it's a 350/auto (th350) the motor runs strong, i drive it often. but it smokes pretty heavy at redlights, it could be valve stem seals, it could be just a tired motor. for the right deal, i have a 454 i may consider including. the 350 has an aftermarket camshaft, i'm unsure of specs, but it has a choppy idle, holley 650 double pumper carb, old holley street dominator intake, unknown brand headers, as well as a gear drive setup. the wiring under the hood could stand to be tidy'd up some, but nothing a couple of hours tinkering couldn't fix, and nothing is majorly wrong. i just don't care for the look. rear end is the factory 8.2 10 bolt, open diff.
unsure of milage, it reads around 10000 miles, 5 digit odometer, so it could easily be 110k, or 210k
8" corvette rally wheels, brand new cooper radial GT tires.
interior is presentable, previous owner dyed the door panels, dash, and console with spray dye. i don't think it looks all that great. front seats are incorrect. they look to be 80's G-body seats. rear seat, carpet, package tray and rear interior panels are nice. no headliner.
the car is in Portland, OR where i am, however, it is titled, and tagged in my home state of Mississippi. title is clear, in hand, no salvage, leins, or theft.
if you are serious, and would like better/more specific pictures, i will be happy to take them. or any questions in general, please let me know.
i require a $500 NON REFUNDABLE deposit within 48 hours. full payment due within 7 days. if you need time to arrange shipping, i am willing to work with you. so PLEASE look over the pictures, read the ad, and ask any questions you need, to feel comfortable.
