72 Chevy C10 Fleetside LWB Southern California 99% of its life NO RUSTOriginal ownerordered thispickup. Built in Fremont CA shipped to Village Chevrolet La Mesa CA and resided in Lemon Grove CA most of its lifePower steering/Brakes/AC/Auto this started as a repaint and got a little out of controloverlots of $spent to bring it back to its glory days Odometer says 62,000there was very little wear on interior so this may be correct. Honestly I bought this because it was considered a true nice survivor and was very nice. Here is my honest description I own show cars that are what they are this is a very nice driver:
- Body- Original sheet metal Zero Rust.It was taken apart for paint meaning the only thing left on the frame was the cab there was a small spot of corrosion under the battery obviously from a leaking battery this was fixed. Base clear was the choice of paint tofactory colors,after painted it was color sanded and buffed nice shine to be considered driver qualityinside of doors and jambs were painted as well No body rust anywhere cab mounts solid Underside was cleaned and painted many parts were sand blasted New Bumpers front and rear/new rubber products everywhere/all new lenses/New grill surround which has a small dent about the size of adimewhile being installed/New mirrors/New windshield/nice grill insert/Rino spray liner, bed was very nice but I wanted it useable
- Engine- Original 350 said to be rebuilt with 10k miles after market intake/carb and HEI were added for reliability have all original parts that were swapped out if wanted, runs very good No smoke. I have put 2 new alternators on it from Napaand both have a howl when first started then goes away quickly charging system works as it should just being honest New dual exhaust and many other new parts Very detailed engine bay
- Transmission- Turbo 350 shifts nice no leaks
- Wheels/Tires- Stock 8 inch rallys sandblasted and repainted new stainless trim rings/ Tires New 275/60/15
- Interior- Was very nice had one split in seam of seat but decided to freshen it New seat upholstery/Carpet/steering wheel/door seals/window wiskers/door bumpers/arm rest pads/ sill plates/Radio was removed and serviced with new speaker/New dash pad/Factory installed rear sliding window. All lights work as they should including backup lights Everything works very detailed and nice AC blows Cold
