1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Coupe Hardtop
Engine: Original 265 8 cylinder
Trans: Original Power Glide trans.
I purchased this car aprox. 2 years ago and started a frame off restoration. The owner before me bought it back in the 60's and kept in his barn until I bought it. When he decided to sell it. The car is completely rust free. It is currently assembled and just needs to be adjusted/aligned (doors/ fenders/ hood etc.) I started the engine before putting it in the car and it worked great.
Under carriage had the original body preservative which was removed/sanded. Any dents that it had was fixed then painted with turquoise paint.
The chassis was sand blasted then painted with primer and sanded. Finished of with the original black epoxy paint.
New brake lines were put in along with new brake lines.New front disc brake kit installed.All rear brake was out in new.
New bushing, Ball joints, Shocks, Just Rebuilt carburetor. New Fuel filter.
Comes with New Stainless steel Front grille. All front chrome pieces are new with the exception of the front bumper. The rear bumper and side chrome pieces are not new but are in very good shape. Has the original front and rear seat. Many parts included with the vehicle. Give me a call and I will let you know of all the parts that I have with the car. Restoration 70% complete just needs a good painter to complete the work. Lots of time and man power has been invested in this car. Don't start a restoration, finish this one!
