For sale is a one of a kind 1972 Super Cheyenne/30 Longhorn 4x4. This is one of the cleanest and nicest 67-72 trucks I have came across. This is a true 1 ton truck. It sits on the original Longhorn chassis that is much more heavy duty than a 3/4 or K20. The truck is equipped with every option. The truck was originally bout in Las Cruses New Mexico. It has spent its whole life in the desert of New Mexico. 74,655 original miles. All body panels are original GM. There is not a dent or rust on this truck. It is a real survivor. It is currently garage kept in the Seattle area.
Engine:Original 402 big block Chevy. It was just rebuild and runs amazing. It has an RV cam, but virtually almost a stock original engine. The points ignition was replaced with an MSD. The radiator is aluminum now with dual electric fans. The A/C compressor was upgraded at the same time. A/C works great. It is also equipped with the factor cruise control, but it is not hooked up. New dual exhaust was also done at the same time. The truck runs and sounds really good.
Transmission:New rebuilt TH400 automatic.
Transfer case:New rebuilt NP205
Axles:The HO72 rear was replaced with an Corp 14 bolt. The front is a Dana 60 one ton. New driveshafts as well.
Suspension:The rear is the stock suspension with factory auxiliary springs. The front is a DIY 4x B52 52" springs that make the truck ride so much smoother that the short factory springs.
Interior:Fully loaded. Tilt steering, tachometer dash, A/C, hounds tooth seat that was just reupholstered with new foam.
Tires:Band new BFG A/Ts with factory wheels and hub caps.
This truck really does not need anything. The only thing I would say is if you really wanted to, replace the wood on the bed floor. Personally, I think it looks fine, but if your intentions are a perfect show truck, then it could use to be replaced.
The front bumper is a vintage 70s winch bumper. It really looks great on this truck. There is an auxiliary batter that just runs the winch. The rear bumper was powder coated and has D-rings installed.
Rocker panels and cab corners are original and are in mint condition.
I am sure that I am leaving out something. If you need any further questions answered or pictures, call or text 702-818-9533.

The truck has been repainted. The paint is good. It has some nicks and scratches.
This is a Longhorn. The Longhorn has the extended 6" on the bed. They were not offered in 4-wheel drive. The coversion is exceptional though.
