1954 1st Series Pickup A 4 year project that was totally disassembled for restoration.
Frame blasted & powder coated
Front suspension rebuilt, new springs, shocks, brakes, lines, ball joints, tie rod ends, steering box rebuilt, axle bearings, seals.6 lug hubs
6 volt system with all new wiring and fuse panel. original gauges operational, turn signals.
Strong running 235 6 cyl. no smoke or unusual noisesoriginal 4 speed trans. w/granny 1st gear.
Later 70's GM rear end 5 lug hubs, new springs, brakes, lines. park brake works.
Relocated fuel tank from behind seat to between frame rails. Fill cap in bed
New wood in the bed, with new metal
New interior door panels & headliner, bucket seats (oldsmobile?)new windshield & door glass, wood steering wheel (not original)
New chrome bumpers
Paint is very good no apologies driver+ quality with a few chips, flaws,etc. Body & Paint work was done by owner piece by piece inside and out (see the last few pics)
No Heater
Don't know what else to say, it's a very nice nut and bolt four year with nothing left undone restoration. I'm certain we are forgetting something you really should see in person.
I hope the pictures tell the story, because he left nothing undone.
