Up for sale is anearly complete 1st series 1954 Chevrolet 5 windowshort bed pickup truck. This is a very solid, rust free survivor, andawaiting the next owner's imagination to make a full custom build orkeep it in the stock configuration. I was going to start this build but now have other priorities so some of these projects need to go. There is no title howeverthe vin tag is located in the door. It has been checked, is clear, and no longer in system. Bill of sale provided. Easy to register if and if there was any concerns I could get it registered in my name and then transfer ownership to you if needed.
As you can see in the pictures the truck has been completely apart. It hasbedsides, hood, and fenders, have all been propped up for the photo. Starting with the cab in excellent shape for a 64 year old truck. Usually these have rot in the floors, cab corners. This cab has neither with no rot whatsoever cab corners or floor boards. No major dents which will require minimal bodywork.Inside all the gauges are in place along with dash. Seat frame and gas tank are located inside. All glass is intact. There is some hazing/bubbling around thewindshieldby the rubber but no cracks or holes. Curved side and rear glass appear perfect. Doors have vent windows intact. The bottom of the doors are the only rust issue that will require a patch. Located underneath door you have to lay down to see it. Easy fix and most doors are usually a lot worse. Front fenders are in great shape with a near perfect immaculate hood. Inner wheel wells in great condition as well. Running boards are solid and straight. Now for the bed...I have both rear fenders in fair shape, the bedsides and the back portion that sits against the caband notailgate. The tailgate and supports are easily obtained. There is a nearly complete Chevrolet 235 inline 6 cylinder engine mated to a manual transmission with the stock rear end. I was told the engine ran before sitting but did not verify it. It does turn by hand. The truck has been lowered approximately 3" from stock height. This was done in the front by putting what looks like a mid 50's Chevy car suspension and altering the rear springs. I have a stock frame/rolling chassis if you wanted to switch it out not liking the "clipped" lowered frame. Front grille not included and sold but was used in pictures.
I have described this car as accurate as possible and the best of my ability. Please do not assume anything and ask any and all questionsvia email, phone, or text. I prefer you see it in person if possible 3102790465 Alfredo. I have this listed locally and may pull the auction at any time. $500 deposit due within 24 hours. The remainder of funds to be paid cash, bank transfer, or Venmo. Pickup is responsibility of the buyer however I can help deliver (for a fee). I can go all over California up to Washington state, about as far east as the Rockies, and if timing right may go all the way out to Chicago.
I also have other projects for sale. Inquire if interested and I can get you pics and info and set up an auction for you. Check out my other auctions as I will be listing more over the next few months and as always thanks for looking.
