Up for auction is a custom made 1952 Chevrolet truck 3100 1/2 ton (No Certificate of Title for it). It was an ordinance plant truck and has holes in the roof for lights. I sold the original hood, hood latch panel and hood hinges. The original hood had this script stamped on it ( Day and Zimmermann Ordinace Plant, Lone star LLC.) And the firewall had U.S.A. in white lettering stamped on it in military font. I replaced what I sold with GMC parts. The hood and doors need to be adjusted to get the body lines lined up. I did my best to get it where its at today. The passenger side door has a push button style door handle and the drivers side door is the early style where the door handle is pushed down to open it. The doors were cleaned to bare metal on both sides and then I sprayed rustoleum red oxide primer on the insides of both doors. The truck is in bare metal now on the outside of it. I did not put anything on the metal since I grounded it down. The truck may look different upon pickup from being outside in the rain and the weather so it may have more surface rust on it. I ordered and installed new hood hinges that are black and new hood hinge bolts. All the stuff that I bought new for the truck is installed already which is the front and rear shock absorbers they are the factory replacements for this truck and they are made by Gabriel. I put new door hinge bolts on 21 of them, all 4 fenders have new nuts, bolts and washers in zinc. I installed new rubber bed mounting blocks and pads under the bed of the truck and put some new bed to frame bolts, nuts and washers. I put a new back roof head lamp gasket in it and the rear headliner retainer bow has new screws for it. I put grease in all the grease fittings on the frame front and back that would accept grease with new Mobile1 grease. The truck does not have running boards or side splash aprons and no tailgate. It sits on the orginal frame and it's still set up for an inline six engine with the enclosed torque tube drive shaft attached to the rear end. I will include the original passenger side fender and a used glove box door and a center dash cover with ash tray that I bought on ebay with it when it sells. The wheels and tires are only good enough to move the truck around and are not road worthy because the tires are weather cracked. The front of the frame has been cleaned and painted with por15 gloss black as well as the bed area of the frame. I did not paint the center of the frame where the cab sits because its hard to reach and clean there with the cab still attached to the frame and i did not want to remove the cab off the frame. You will need to arrange pickup of the truck if you are the winner, because it doesnt have an engine or transmission. The truck will need to be winched or pulled on with a strong come along to get it unto a car hauler or trailer and transported. So come prepaired! Bring what you need to get it back to your place like tie straps, chains to tie the truck down so it wont move during transport. The trucks brakes dont work, the brake lines are not connected to anything but the frame and the brake booster master cyclinder had been removed by someone before I owned it. I will only accept cash for the full payment and you can pay that to me in person upon pickup of the vehicle. The truck is being sold without a certificate of title because the person I bought it from didnt have a title for it. So I will include a bill of sale with it. I called my local title and registration office the dmv and asked about the vin on the truck and I was told it is not in the system. The truck has holes inside the passenger side of the cab on the floor under where the seat was, the transmission cover needs to be replaced and the area it bolts to worked straight its bent under the cab floor on a brace that holds the cab in place, its only bent on the drivers side near to where the gas pedal is. There are rotted areas on the hood, inside where the hood hinges bolt to and up front and on the outside of the hood. The fenders have dents, dimples, tears in the sheet metal etc. The cab corners need to be patched up they have holes in them. The passenger side cowl panel at the bottom needs to be patched with metal on the outer and inner area of it. The water leaked in from the side vent down to the bottom. No reserve price on this auction! What you bid is what you pay for it.
