More than just a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle coupe at a value price, this iconic classic has been updated with slick standout paint, an upgraded interior, and extra muscle in its small block. The result is a Chevelle that you can comfortably drive anywhere and proud to show off everywhere. There were some nice yellows in the Chevelle pallet in the 1970s, but none of them compare to this. There's a bright luster that can only come from modern paint practices and plenty of clearcoat shine to give it a true standout presence. Bodywork is excellent all around, with great gaps. It was built before new bumper laws so those big chrome kings fit much snugger to the body, and the rear still houses the taillights in a very cool way. While the paint and brightwork have a sunny disposition, a lot of attention paid to getting those dark SS stripes correct. In fact, they were applied before the clearcoat, so the whole body looks great as the light rolls off the iconic design lines. The aggressive upgrades continue with the blacked out grille, hood pins, all that correct SS badging, and a proper cowl induction hood (more on that in a moment.) Amplifying this flare even further is a set of large 17-inch US Mags torque thrust-style wheel. We always like a complete package car where the exterior accent color is a preview of the interior color. And you can tell there has been some nice investment to retain the deep black color on the seats, door panels, and carpeting. But more than just look cool, we love Chevelles for their versatility. These might have been intermediate cars by 1970s standards, but today you can easily share the classic car experience with five family and friends alongside you. There's even added comfort with cold modern R134a air conditioning. But this is a great classic for even when you're just going solo. That's because you have great driving features like a grippy three-spoke sports steering wheel, round gauge panel, and a trio of auxiliary readouts. It's the kind of total package that gets you excited even before you twist the key and hear the rumbling soundtrack. When you open the hood, this one has that great presentation where the Chevy orange on the block and valve covers radiate from within the dark engine bay. But take some extra time to look over the details on this 350 cubic-inch V8. That's because the first thing enthusiasts will see is that rubber diaphragm around the air topper. It's the unmistakable indication of a true cowl induction hood. This means your feeding the coolest air to the Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. So you can expect an extra hit of performance out on the streets. But a Chevelle like this is more than just the roar of the motor; it's an all-around nice classic. That's why you have features like the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, independent front end with thick sway bar, power steering, front disc brakes, and the grip of modern Cooper Zeon tires.Complete with owner's manual, this is the Chevelle for those of you who want a solid driving icon. And since that's most of us, you should hurry up and call today!
