1970 Corvette Stingray with Lt-1 Conversion

When I listed this car previously. I advertised it as a"True" LT-1. It isnot. I was led to believe it was because of all the evidence it displays. It was a 350/300 when bought new. The original owner of this car came forward when he seen this car listed for sale here on E-bay and let me know the history of the vehicle. He bought it new and kept the car for 20 yrs in pristine condition. Spent a lot of $$$ on it. The Entire Lt-1 package was added to this car in 1980. This included The Engine ( Genuine GM P/N 3965748. a 370hp LT-1/Z28 complete assembly ) built to LT-1 specs purchased at a car dealership in L. A. Engine doent have a Vin#. Has LT-1 slant plug heads (GM P/N 3991492 ) with Aluminum Roller Rockers. igh capacity oil pump. ransistorized ignition system. 4- speed Munci Transmission ( GM P/N 392566 ) with 2800 lb clutch w/ Blow Proof Bellhousing. Tachometer. Speedometer. Alternator w/ LT-1 pulley. LT-1 Starter. Front-end suspension ( Special A arms with poly bushings ). Rear end. Rear end suspension( Greenwood Fiberglass Rear Spring ) and Heim Joint Camber Rods. Stainless-steel exhaust and the Infamous LT-1 Hood. Console plate. It has Hooker Headers. Edelbrock Torker 2 intake manifold. Holley Carburetor ( Just recently rebuilt ). The transistor wiring harness is still there but it has been converted to MSD ( as seen in pics ) since. The car has been repainted twice over the years by the 1st and 2nd owner professionally. The color has always been Monza red. The interior is near perfect. All the gages work. The fiber optics all work. ISSUES: Speedo quit over the summer and the interior lights don't work. Gage lights do. Stereo. D changer and speakers were purchased from Ecklers corvette. This car has a "rebuilt" title with the primary brand of "flood damage" Don't let that scare you away because Hagerty Insurance Co will insure this car to 38000. With it being 45 yrs old. its "EXEMPT" from most issues. There aren't any signs of this car ever being in any water. I have enjoyed this car since 2006 without any major problems.
