- 1973 Corvette Stingray ( first year of 5 MPH front bumper, last year of Chrome bumpers ) with a 1970 Corvette LT-1 Engine ( block # 3970010 )-Vermillion Candy Red ( House of Kolors ) -approx.400 HP, solid lifter cams,Chevrolet Muncie 4 speed Transmission, Hooker sidepipes,Alpine stereo with 6 disc CD changer in rear compartment. Replaced within the past 500 miles ; New Cragars, tires, Wilwood calipers and brakes, rear main spring, Bilstein shocks, High energy ignition system, new plugs, battery, headlight actuators,valve covers and gaskets. " Devil- 1 " ( plates before Antique ) runs as great as she looks. Long ago had her at 145 MPH and she wanted and had a lot more to give. Two regrets, not putting her on a Dyno as 400 HP I feel is a tad low,and that I never took her out on an oval track. Extra parts,floor mats,Nose Bra,fender mats. NADA/Kelley Blue book values as of 11/18-$43K-to $68 K, with 70 LT-1- $79-96 K.
