Low Reserve. This truck will sell. I bought it well and will make money. Everybody wins.
ThisC-20, fleetside, long bed example ofChevy's glamor body style is one the finest unrestored, originals you will see in an entire year, or longer.
First, there is NO RUST. Every fender well, door bottom, cab corner, rocker, foot wel, cab supportand fire wall isexceptional (I have additional pics of all these).Next, look at the incredibly straight panels. Inspect the panel gaps. This truck is straighter than trucks just 10 years old. See how the door bottoms line up to the rocker. Look at how arrow straight the character lines are across the entire fleet side. It just looks unlike anything your going to see for a long while. There is no better restoration candidate than this one, anywhere. Thousands upon thousands of dollars will be saved on body work alone.
I am the 3rd owner. It has spent its entire life in Denver, with the previous owner for the past 30 years. From the condition of the vehicle and the owners clear knowledge of its history, we believe the mileage on the chassis is what shows on the odometer. But, I represent it here as, unknown. Call it a patina truck, but this thing has not been touched.
Mechanically the car runs, stops and steers very well. The only thing that does not work on the truck is the washer fluid spray. It idles smoothly, battery charges and runs a constant normal temperature. There is a replacement small block 350. The original I-6 was replaced about 20 years ago after a bolt dropped down the intake. This motor has very few miles on it and runs smooth. There is a brand new Edelbrock 4-BBL on it. It is jetted for sea-level so runs too rich at this altitude, needing full warm up, but the is great. The tires have just a few hundred miles on them.Even allthe weather stripping is invery serviceable condition. Same for the floormat. Original, but appears nearly brand new.
The bench seat needs recovered. The original wood bed needs replaced, with about 90% of it still there.
It's hard to provide more information on a fantastic, no excuses truck. This condition is rare, and I think the pictures speak for themselves. I'm happy to answer any questions you have. Good people do business with other good people. Good luck in your search.
