Car description

I have a 1955 Chevy that was my Project for the past 12 years. It's now finished. But I've decided I don't want a Resto Mod any longer. I want a stock 55 Post or a Nomad.
The majority of the custom body work was done by Alf Uberoth, a custom builder of mostlyolder GMcars in Sand City CA. He's an artist. Many of his cars have won Hot August Nights awards over the years.
So, now that it's done, I've decided to sell the BODY without chassis and running gear. I'll also consider a trade fora stock 55 Post car or55 Nomad. Believe it or not, I have invested in excess of $230,000.00 in this build....Really! I have receipts to prove it.
Since it was completed last year I have less than 233 miles on it. I've driven it to local car shows but that's about it. It's basically a new car. The paint, completed in 2005, is about an 8 out of 10. Over the years it has suffered a bit of "hanger rash" but still looks very good.
Notice the engine bay. I set back the engine by 5 inches so that I could use something at the radiator support that didn't look like every other55 out there. It's slanted back on about a 25 degree angle and houses the radiator and condenser for the Vintage Air unit.
The interior was done by a well known hot rod upholsterer. It's theme is Aircraft and has aluminum riveted console and accents. He finished it in 2015 and its been garaged since (always actually). He also did a one-off custom stereo install. Everything is hidden. Sounds fantastic.
I'm willing to sell for about 25% of what I have invested. The chassis and running gear cost less thatn $35K of that $230K. So, If you've got a project you want to jump start, or like what you see and have a chassis, this might be for you.
Too much to list, but the pictures tell a lot. Your are welcome to come to see the car before you bid.
BEFORE you hit Buy or Offer, make sure you understand this sale does NOT include the chassis or running gear.
