Very clean 1964 Chevy Corvair with the more powerful 110hp engine. New (rebuilt) dual carbs. Very little rust (see pics I took pics of all I could find). Interior is in excellent shape. I love how the front floor is all flat in these. Runs and drives but needs a tune. Previous owner replaced the carbs and never could get it to run right again. It runs choppy at times as if it's going to run out of gas. then it will snap out of it and take off (usually at higher RPM). There is good and equal vacuum in both sides. I believe the issue is in the left carb because when you turn the air/idle screw all the way in it should stall out the engine and it doesn't. That screw is also slightly bent so it may be as simple as ordering a new screw. The choke also isn't hooked up. which I've had people suggest is the issue as well. Alot of you old-timers can tune these dual carbs with your eyes shut and it would be good to go then. It was the previous owners daily driver before the carb replacement. I also cant get the blower to turn on. but that system is very different in air cooled engines (there is no blower. hot air comes from the engine fan thru vents if you didn't know) so it may need a cable adjustment or I might be doing something wrong. The largest blemishes are on the edge of the drivers door. and the patch in front of the rear fender(see pic). Clean title. SUMMARY: Very Clean Corvair with great interior. clean engine bay. very little rust. Car is dusty in pics it shines up better than that. No expensive work needed. Needs a carb tune. Feel free to ask any questions.
