This auction is for a 1956 Chevrolet Model 210 BEL AIR 2 door hardtop.

Over the years we have owned the car (29) the car has had extensive upgrades

and any maintenance work needed has been performed throughout the time of

our ownership. Originally purchased in N. California we now keep the car at our

S. California Palm Springs home. We are selling because I am now 76yr. old and

my health doesn’t allow me to work on the car, which is what I enjoy doing. The

car has had very few miles accumulated as I have rarely driven the car since owning

it. I have invoices for the majority of the parts and systems I installed during our

ownership and most of the instruction manuals.

BODY: The car has all its original sheet metal. There was two small areas of rust on the car

They were under the driver and passenger side floor pans. They were of course repaired

The car has been garage kept the entire time we have owned it. All body side moldings are

either new or original in top condition. Window trim and windows are all in excellent condition

Front bumper was replaced with a new bumper years ago, rear bumper is original.

I stripped the car to bare metal when I painted it about 10 years ago. The paint has some scratches

And chips on it that can be touched up I have listed below in more detail.

I used Two GM metallic colors Impulse Blue and Cadillac metallic White colors. Body is very straight

With no damage I am aware of. As I stated all moldings, and other trim items are in very good shape.

INTERIOR: The interior has been customized. All instruments including speedometer and tachometer

have been replaced by late model Autometer matching gauges. A custom built center console and two

CTS bucket seats replace the original front seats. New seats are powered and heated.

Center console holds Kenwood stereo/dvd system with four speakers. B&M shifter and controls for heat and ventilation are also on console. Upholstery is two tone gray and in excellent condition. Steering wheel is aftermarket leather covered. Ididit custom chrome steering column with tilt feature

Lokar Throttle and Brake pedals. Hidden kill switch is installed under the dash.

CHASIS: Original frame and suspension were undercoated prior to our purchase

Of the car. We have removed the undercoating and painted the undercarriage with a black rust

Preventive paint. Front suspension was either refurbished or replaced. New coil springs, shocks and

Tie rods. A new front sway bar was also added. Power steering The car handles very well. Rear traction bars have been added. Moser Engineering custom 12 bolt rear end with 33 spline axles with True Trac and 3.08 gears

Brand new 3:55 gears never installed. Complete package cost over $2800.00. MB 18 x 8 custom rims

With BF Goodrich G Force 245/55/75 tires. Tires and wheels are both in excellent condition. Disc brakes

Have been installed all around. Brake pressure balance adjustable regulator and dual master cylinder have been installed.+

ENGINE & RUNNING GEAR:

Car is Running great

New engine built in 2009 car has been driven less than 500 miles since installation

GM high performance 383 cu. inch short block new 2009.

RHS/COMP CAMS 23 degree aluminum cylinder heads, 64cc combustion chamber,2.020 intake and

1.600 exhaust. 200cc intake runner.

1. Interior door locks need to be fixed as they are not properly

Locking the door.

2. I used filler in some joints, (between fender and cowl) trying to close the gap

and giving it a better cosmetic look. Some of this filler has developed cracks.

The filler needs to be sanded and the paint touched up for a good cosmetic look.

3. Paint has some scratches that needs touch up to have a great look. Paint colors

Paint is GM so no problem acquiring colors.

Listed mileage is 99000. However Odometer says 618000 but since 2009 New Engine was inserted and has been driven less than 500 miles since then.
