Please DO NOT BID if you cannot keep the simple terms of auction for payment and timing. Had to cancel twoauction no show winnersnow with non preforming winning bidders.) (Please read the entire ad, simple instructions for the terms)
Up for auction is this 1959 Chevrolet BelAir Sedan. This 59 BelAir Sedan was a Western car its whole life. It is getting very hard to find unaltered, unmolested, original factory paint 59's any longer. Never worked on, bondo'ed, or repainted.
NOTE: The passenger side was used in a blasting machine demo for glass blasting and the metal was blasted as you see in the pictures and a small portion was primed to protect bare metal and some left as is.This is aALL METAL Classic.
A great59 to finish your project, or restore a good '59 BelAir Sedan. All the Original Parts alone would add up to more than $3,500 easy, not to mention the nice sheet metal fenders and frame. The Cars History was in Western Oklahoma and now Western Colorado. The car is overall very straight and major accident free. Front clip is nicest part of car as it has almost no rust. Front fenders and hood have top patina surface rust that can be removed. The main rustoutsare on the front flat floor pans and the lower rear seat floor pans, all these are reproduced for replacements. The trunk flat floor is needing a pan also. The rear 1/4's are in pretty good shape especially over the lips of the wheel wells. Doors and seams are pretty good also, very light pin holes in isolated dirt pac spots. Glass is good on rear windows and rear main windows, the fronts both need replaced due to smoke and crack on drivers side. (No front windshield) Interior needs all redone as shown. All doors open and shut, windows all move. Hood hinges are there, in closed position, but not bolted up to the hood.
Mechanical the car has the original powerglide automatic transmission still in placeand the factory drive shaft and gas tank. no 283 engine now,or radiator.I do have these items if needed for a extra cost of $550.All chrome is there and the stainless trim cept noted. Rear Bumper is in the trunk, three pieces less the brackets. Only exterior things I know of missingis the small fill panel on passenger side lower doors where they meet, and the thin small stainless trim paint dividers on top of rear doors.Note: on the overall rust condition to be as accurate as possible for the purest. As stated in this main ad, the main floors are overall good and the main braces, but the major rust is the main flat front floors and the lower rear pan floors are gone, due to sitting water. The Minor stuff, there aresome pin holes up higher on the passenger rear 1/4 not on the wheel well lip but up by the trim. This is a odd spot actually for pin holes, but wanted to state the condition as shown, see pictures. The wheel well lips are good for a 59. The lower 1/4's has some rust out on drivers side as shown.Onesmall spot on roof passenger sideouter rear corner1". Only rust on front clip is the headlight inner lower curve at the grill area on the headlight buckets, not bad, very common. The fenders are nice on the outer headlight curves which is rare. Couple very small pin holes on passenger side lower fender very minimal. What you see here is what you get. See all pictures! A great original car to restore, or a great parts car for the '59 coupe or '59 convertible. Highest bid will win this '59 BelAir, so Good Luck and please ask all and any questions before bidding if not sure!
(I do have a 283 good powerpac V8 Chevrolet engine I can drop in there if needed and some missing engine bay parts that might be needed please ask for prices.)
