Up for sale we have this 1957 Chevy Bel Air Two Door Hard Top. This car is a real beauty that was a frame off restoration. The drive train has had multiple upgrades from the V8 to the brakes and AC. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Bel Air. As we said the body was taken off the frame for the resto. All the panel fit and gaps are a very nice and the body is straight as an arrow. It's covered in the two tone Highland Green that's accented by the Surf Green. The paint has been buffed and polished to a mirror finish. All the chrome looks great and what wasn't replaced has been cleaned and polished, and the same was done for the stainless. The windshield and back glass has had new seals installed. As for the stance, it's sitting on a set of 18" and 20" Billet Wheels with new tires!
Next, we will look at the interior of the '57. On the inside, it provides the perfect complement to the exterior color scheme. The seat and door panels appear to have been replaced and are done in the Green and Black. Looking at the dash it all looks stock with the exception to the upgraded steering wheel. The headliner is done in white and looks like new as well. One thing to notice is how nice all the interior stainless is. Mostly everything appears to be new on the inside of this Bel Air.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of the Chevrolet. Under the hood it features and 350 Crate Engine that's mated to the 350 Turbo Trans and the stock style rear end. The engine is dressed with an aluminum intake and aluminum valve covers. The brakes have been upgraded to Four Wheel Disc that are Power with drilled and slotted rotors on all four corners. Also, the steering has been changed to Power. When the vintage A/C was added, they did a very clean and neat install. When you look under this Bel Air you are sure to appreciate it. The floors are done in the Red Oxide and the frame is done in black with all new body bushings.
