1980 Chevrolet Malibu Classic 2-Door
This is a car that I purchased in 2007 for a college project and never really got around to it. Originally purchased from a family in Pennsylvania. I am from what I believe the 2nd or 3rd owner. This car is the epitome of what a G-Body is. A vehicle that can fit a big block that weighs less that 3200 lbs. This is also one of the models that did not have air conditioning which is a benefit to anyone whom will be installing a larger motor since you will not need to fill the firewall with sheet metal. If you are someone whom is looking for something to go down the drag strip then this is the vehicle for you. The body is in relatively good shape for the age. You can see in the photos there is some surface rust as well as some rust that has gone through the very bottom of the real quarter panels. I have a dual exhaust cross member that cost around $150 that I will include also. I also have a bunch of replacement parts that I will include. I have an extra grille that was only made for the 1980 that I will include also. Pretty hard to find an original grille which is why I'm including. I also have the original hubcaps. The breaks will need to be replaced as the last time we drove it they were in pretty rough order.
This was also one of the last Body's that was built by the Fisher Carriage company for Chevrolet.
Car is still running but hasn't run in a while. A new battery and a few try and should start right up.
Please send me over any questions and offers as I would love to sell this ASAP to someone whom wants to do what I always wanted to.
