1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo - Great Condition51000 Original Miles - Very NiceThis is a solid southern car that has been cared for.It iswellequipped with options.There is no rust.It is a non smokercar.Itwas a one ownercar for 31 years. A friend of mineboughtit fromthelady'sEstate. He had no place to keepit andafterplaying with it for a few months, ecided tosellit. I aman oldretired guy who has played with cars for over60years.I amalways looking for nice G Body cars. I tinkerwiththem,drivethem for a while and move on to thenextone.You won't find many of these cars in this condition.The paint is in great condition for a 32 year old car.The odometer is showing just under 51000 miles. There isnodocumentation such as work orders. The brother ofthelady who owned the car provided a notarizedstatementthatthe miles are actual miles. There will be afew moremileson it as I am driving it on nice days.It is very tight and runs and drives like a much newer car.Theoilwas changed at 49000 miles and it is still right onfull.The transmission shifts just like it should.The tires have good tread and ride well.Thevinyltop has a few small cracks as shown in the pictures.The AC does not work. The man I bought it from said he hadit charged and it cooled but slowly leaked down.The clockgainstimeandthe adjustment knob is stripped.I found ausedclockand aclockdelete panel that will beincludedwiththesale.Theradio is an aftermarket unit that is verybasic.Theownerwas obviously not into Big Sound. Theoriginalradiois in thetrunk. I don't know if it works.The interior is in good shape except for the piping on thedriver'sseat and a worn spot on the driver side carpet.These spots can be seen in the pictures.The preferred method of payment is cash at my bank. I willhave the title notarizedfor transfer when my banker agreesthe money is real.I will also accept a Cashier's check or other funding, ut willretainpossessionof the car and title until my bank tells methe funds are good. This can take up to 3 weeks.Delivery will be up to the buyer.
