PRETTY COOL OLD SHORT BOX CHEVY VANI CAN HONESTLY SAY I CANT RECALL WHEN THE LAST TIME I SAW ONEDRIVING AROUND..... MAYBE IN THE 80S ?

Ive seen other sellers adsand pics, nd I find it hard to believe people even bid on some cars .UP FOR AUCTION: this is what we know about the car below.MILEAGE on the odometer shows aprox 74k could be originalcould have rolled over, ot sure it matters, ut the last owner told me thatthe motor has less then 20k miles on it along with some performanceupgrades done during the rebuild.BRIEF DESCRIPTION: the Van has been in AZ for as long as we can track itshistory. Minimal rust at best, his is your typical very rust free SURVIVOR VANStarts up and runs well. The V8 could be a 350, ot really sure. Its suppose to havebeen rebuilt a few yrs ago, cant say for sure. It does have a nice Holley aluminum intake and 625 afb style carb. THIS IS NOT A RESTORED VANYou can get it and drive it anywhere, ut it will need tires soon.Also for some reason to me the BRAKE PEDAL sits really high up, igher then IM useto, o that may want to be addressed soon. Brakes and PS work well.Glass is all good too. Paint looks to be original, nd very rough !

DRIVETRAIN:this van from the factory is a V8 van. Not sure if it was a 3 on the tree maybeat one time, ut the auto thats in it works well. Just drove it across town theother day. 350 more then likely, ut not 100% sure. My guess its a TH350 autoI have pics of the pan below so if you know what to look for you can find outyourself. PS works fine. A NICE LARGE AUXILIARY cooler has been added to thesystem, y guess its for the transmission. You can see it behind the grill.

INTERIOR:the interior is Az weathered, ut not totally beaten up. It is prettysparce. 2 bucket seats, ome old carpet and a rear bench out back.POP OUR REAR WINDOW OPTION pretty cool. Slider 3dr door works okSometimes you have to help it latch with a extra push. Front seatswill need covers or recovering soon. Dash just old and original. Thereis what looks to be like a CD Player mounted in the dash, ve nevertried to use it.

EXTERIOR: Paint looks to be the original Gold, hich is in really bad shape.Dont see any evidence of any previous accidents, amage bondo orrust repair. Body is 95% rust free, loors are the same. Its a VERY SOLIDRARE 40 yr old Short Base Van that you rarely see anymore on the road.Outside has a few bumps and dents, ut pretty minor for a survivor likethis one. REMINDS me of the old GOOD TIMES Vans back in the 70s....exceptthey where longer. Both front doors and rear doors work fine. Dr sidewindow will need new rollers soon or maybe a regulator.

SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension the best I can tellIm sure most of the bushings are dry out, ut being a minimal rust carit would come apart easier then a rust bucket and making the repairsand restoration in its future again, ore attractive. Goes down the roadfine. Just drove it across town the other day on a 10 mile trip withno issues.
