1959 Chevy Biscayne

I found this car in Great Falls MT, here a guy was restoring it. It was not for sale at the time, ut I left a card and he called me later. That was 2011. He had the quarter panels patched in, nd had installed the 454 Big Block engine and a 4 spd tranny. The trunk floor is patched with a piece of flat steel, ather than a "correct" stamp-formed patch panel(s). I bought the car and purchased/installed the following:

Fuel tank and send unit

Disk brake kit

Front suspension

Dual exhaust

Ws and back glass gaskets, new ws

Painted dash and roof

Polished stainless trim

Custom drive shaft

Floor pan replacement

I have had bad luck with painters. The first painter painted the roof and painted over a bunch of DA sander "digs". The second painter redid the roof, nd blocked out the body, ut then he let it sit out for 2 years.

I put the ws and back glass into their new gaskets, nd just set in place, s you want them out for painting. Quarter glass is stationary (no roll down) and is removed. Pass door glas is out of car and is cracked.There is a 4dr no-fold seat in the car. I have the original seats and door panel tops. They are rough, ut can be reused/restored. There is still a lot of work to do on this car!

Your idea to build this car may not be the same as mine, o I offer the car as body only in this ebay auction. The ebay bid price gets you the body and chassis only!

Available at additional cost: 455 engine (I think rebuilt, ut cannot verify), spd manual tranny, lutch, nd drive shaft. Additional cost $4750

Available at additional cost: Wheel Vintiques wheels, 5x7 for front, 5x8 for rear, new wheels in primer. My idea was same color as car (blue) with dog dish caps. Will need nubs welded on if plan to hold full wheel covers. Additional cost: $300

Note: there is a pretty good whack on the frame cross member. I don't think it's so bad as to keep the car from alignment, ut cannot verify. There is also a misalignment from the front of right fender to the front core panel. Other parts of fender and hood line up well, o I am not sure how to correct this.
