Car description |

This listing is for my 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne. This car is listed without a title. eBay does not have a provision for no title, so I had to enter something. Just to be clear, this car does not have a title. I do have photos of the VIN tag and the cowl tag. It was purchased from an old farmer and it had sat in the field for a long time. The car has a clear history.
The frame on this car is solid, there are no issues with the frame. Obviously the car does have typical Midwest rust in the body, the floorboards, the trunk floor, etc. However, the car is not a total rust-bucket by any means. The car has nearly all of its trim. It also has a really nice set of Superior brand mag wheels and very nice tires.
The car, as it sits now, does not have an engine or transmission. This listing is for the car with no engine and transmission. However, if the buyer is interested, I have a very good running 1967 all original 283 with a 3-speed manual transmission ready to drop into this car. This car was originally a straight 6, 3-speed transmission, three on the tree. All of the shift linkage is still in place, all of the clutch linkage is still in place, all of the throttle linkage is still in place, the gas pedal brake pedal and clutch pedal are still in place and the drive shaft is still in place. you could literally drop this 283 in as-is and hook it up and be driving this car very quickly. The car has all of its original glass, but will need a windshield and it will also need a radiator and fan assembly, exhaust, gas tank as well as a few odds and ends as with any engine installation.
Again the listing price is without the engine and transmission if you would like me to include the 1967 283 and 3 speed manual transmission, just add another $400 to the sale price. The car rolls very well, and I can help load the car onto your transporter. I can also store the vehicle on my property for a few weeks if necessary. I am happy to provide my phone number to serious interested buyers and will answer any and all questions you have. I can also take detailed photos of certain areas of the car to help you in your decision to buy. Thanks for looking.
