For your consideration is this 1948 "rusty gold" example of today's shop truck. This one has been built to drive at 70 plus mph cruising. There is nothing "acid washed" on this truck. It is real rust and patina. The story goes it sat outside a barn in Calhoun, eorgia for some 50 years, hen was finally rescued and built. The pickers didn't find this one when they came through Georgia.Pontiac engineTurbo 350 transmissionMustang II front end with power disc brakesBoxed original frameFour link rear with drumsPower steeringLokar shifterNew upholsteryNew glass (passenger side window cracked)Dolphin gauges (speedometer not hooked up)Centerline wheelsNew wiring harnessThis truck is not bagged. What you see is the actual stance. Both doors are rusted through at the bottoms. Both cab corners are rusted through. There are a few spots rusted through in the bed. See all pics. The floor of the truck is solid as are all fenders, ood, nd running boards. It has the look and the "real rust" spots that are duplicated so many times today. The passenger's side door glass is cracked, simple $60 fix at any glass shop. I liked it cracked, o I left it for effect. The leaves in the bed of the truck DO NOT come with the truck. Fall in Georgia is great and we want to keep it for ourselves. Truck comes with BILL OF SALE ONLY. Cars in the state of Georgia over 20 years old are not issued titles.
