This is an all numbers matching "Big Block" 396/325 (runs strong and as new) THM 400 (bulletproof trans.) shifts perfect, actory A/C (blows cold) On top of that it is an obvious 43,000 mile car! Also a strange color combo!(all codes on cowl match) Its Artesian Turquoise w/ a Fawn Beige cloth interior which is in excellent shape showing minor(believable wear) no cuts rips stains! Worst part is right side of dash warp and wrinkled(pictured). Radio has never been replaced w/a sound system! also has never been smoked in(Ashtrays and lighter untouched!) The paint is mostly original and in great shape for its age...shines and presents well overall. There are some dings and scratches throughout the years however, he most noticeable being on the passenger door toward the front(pictured) and also various nicks and minor scuffs(zoom in on the pics) there is also a repainted area on the pass. side to the rear of the door going into the quarter-panel where the garage was scuffed, t also appears that the rear wheel well opening trim was dented and and touched-up areas on either side of that(pictured) also I pictured a few other imperfections but nothing really to take away overall appearance of this 50 yr. old beautiful Big Block Impala. The underside of this car appears to be all original and may have orig. exhaust and tailpipes! Mufflers however been replaced(not turbo, just regular mufflers)...so just a slight growl at tailpipes, ike factory sounding. The underside has been sprayed (many years ago,Dealer?) w/ black sound deadner or rust proofing but probably didnt need it, ut its there...in every area which it is coming off I can see factory paint/frame and color/floorboards and wheel wells not any rust at all. Also some dust dirt and mud still remain as I hadnt clean much underside, ll the years are still there! Again NO RUST! This car drives out extremely strong and Engine compartment obviously detailed, o that is done! I would assume that this 396 has been "freshened up" or something, ecause block has been paint correctly as adjacent underside and Engine compartment(all done in correct colors and stickers) The A/C works perfectly as does everything else. Some documentation exists, ncluding title and owners book and some records w/ mileage. This is a tremendous find which I have had a hard time whether to keep or sell(I have a 66K Survivor Chevelle) The 65 may sell locally as it is for sale in the Phoenix area, erious only Please...anyone interested should call me with further questions, ddl. pics etc...very honest numbers matching car! bid with confidence to win! you will not be disappointed! Just remember it is a 43,000 mile Survivor not a restored one. When I received this car, t had the tires and color coded(early 70s Camaro/Chevelle) wheels and BF Goodrich radials on it,they will be in the trunk...both sets of tires are aged w/very little wear, ne original tire is 1 week old in the pass. rear, others are approx. 40 yrs. old! (Dont drive far on them!) Serious individuals can have a video sent to them of a comprehensive walk around and drive of this vehicle(had trouble loading it). Thanks, hope to here from you.
