This is an extremely high quality 1967 Chevrolet ChevelleSS, nd without a doubt one of the best classics I haveever seen. Recently brought here from Arizona; this carhas never EVER seen salt or snow, nd is a primeexample of what a muscle car is.
This SS retains its original drive train which includes a verystrong running 396 (ED code) V-8 and a Muncie 4-Speedmanual transmission. The engine runs perfectly, ndpurrs down the road with that awesome sound we all loveto hear coming from the dual tailpipes. Absolutely nosmoke, puttering, issing or knocking of any kind fromthis baby. During the restoration; the motor was completely rebuilt, nd at that time a larger, ull roller cam was added along with stainless hardened valve seats to give the car the ability to run on unleaded fuel. The durable Muncie 4-speed shifts perfectlyinto gear with no issues at all.
The body is laser straight. The original steel panels don’thave a single ripple or wave to be found. There is not asingle chip, cratch, ing, cuff or dent in the correctGranada Gold paint. It shines like new with no dust in theclear coat. This is how a high quality classic should look.
The interior is just as high quality as the exterior. Thecorrect bench seat in Medium Gold is in perfect condition. The dash if completely free of cracks or wear, nd theinterior trim looks like it did in 1967. Oh yea… did Imention FACTORY POWER WINDOWS?? How rare isthat on a ’67 Chevelle? Of course; the windows go up anddown perfectly, nd are completely free of scratches. Allthe gauges work just as they should, nd the Vintage A/Cblows so cold you don’t even need it on high.
To help with drivability; this investment quality SS has anMSD Ignition system installed, ut cleverly hidden behindthe fender to keep the engine bay appearing stock. ThisChevelle came stock with front disc brakes, ut has beenupgraded to a set of 4-wheel disc Wilwood brakes formuch better stopping power. As I mentioned before; aVintage A/C system has been installed with the hoses runmostly through the front fender in an attempt to keep theengine bay free of clutter.
The car is shown sitting on a set of 15” American RacingTorque Thrust Chrome wheels, ut also comes with theoriginal steel wheels color coded to the car with the dog-dish hubcaps and redline tires.
This is a high quality investment piece of art that can alsobe driven on a regular basis. If you have ever consideredowning a Chevelle – don’t let this one get away!
