Late 1979 1980 Chevy C3 Corvette Black/Black Ttop 4 speed 383 Stroker New Engine

Black on Black Chevy C3 Corvette T-top 4-speed 383 Stroker. Driver quality. Texas Car.

General description. I don't claim to cover everything.

• Body: Fiberglass body, iber-glass T-tops. No external antenna. No other known body mods. Paint needs work but shows fine from a distance. Usual C3 issues with bumpers, ome cracks, racked dash, eat work steering wheel and seats, tc. All parts are there as far as I know.
• Doors close well. Seals keep the rain out for the most part (not stored uncovered). Power windows work. Lights work. Wipers work. Tops fit well and come on and off easily. Have covers for the tops. Seat covers included.
• Engine: Newly built 383 stroker (350 stroked and bored to 383). Powerful engine. Broken in correctly with professional machine work. Internally balanced at the flywheel. Externally balanced at the harmonic balancer. All new engine parts: starter, ater pump, uel pump, lternator, ower steering pump, attery, tc. New Clutch and pressure plate. New clutch fork. New mounts. Edelbrock thunder AVS carb. Pretty well tuned. Tuning kit included. HEI distributor. New sensors. Big, ull-length headers and true dual exhaust with dyno max mufflers. Sounds mean at idle but won't bring the cops running.
• Transmission is a built-up super t-15. Shifts fine.
• 4-core aluminum radiator. Bypass shutoff for heater core for summer driving. Doesn't overheat, ut will run hot due to headers. Headers wrapped to reduce heat.
• Original Corvette rims. Good front tires. Fair rear tires. 255 60 15 oversized tires. Makes the steering pretty tight and responsive, ut more steering effort than stock.
• Brakes stop it with no issues. 4-wheel disk with 4 piston calipers.
• Rear body mounts replaced. Rear spring replaced. Shocks replaced in the last few years. All other new bushings included in the box.

This car is a driver. Its made for the road and it has seen a lot of it. I don't know if the miles are original, ut I would suspect that it's been rolled over once. I've driven it 3000 miles since I put the new engine into it to make sure that it broke in correctly. It will catch rubber all day long if you want it to. It will bark the tires between 1st and 2nd, nd between 2nd and 3rd. Pulls hard to 6500 rpm. This 383 is no big block, ut it embarrasses the stock small blocks. There is a lot of interior and exterior work to do, ut I've done a lot of the mechanical work. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it and still do when the weather is nice.
