1959 Chevy Sedan Delivery

1107 series. Rare car. Probably the last 59 Sedan Delivery ever to be found. Supposedly only around 400 left in existence. That's less than 10% of the 5,226 produced!Car has rust but is restorable. Factory drivers bucket seat. 6 cylinder w 3 on the tree. Car was a 1 owner florist delivery car here in NC. Tailgate is good but has dent that can be fixed since these tailgates are impossible to find. Drivers door is rusted pretty bad. Front floors & behind seats are gone. Rear interiorsection isn't rusted out including storage behind seats & the spare tire well.

Car has the original 6 cylinder engine & manual transmission still intact.

Last on road in 1981 or 1982.

Rear bumper is included & most of the stainless trim that came off the car but is damaged. Probably have to get straightened & restored if you can't find other used trim. I'll take pics of what's included later on in the week.

The sedan delivery models were the the 1107 series (6 cylinder engine) or the 1207 series (V-8 engines). Approx 814 were built with the 348 engine. The total production was 5226 units combined. They were utility vehicles which also came with 1 interior color, ode #802 (Gray).They were based in the Biscayne trim level. UP TO 93 CUBIC FEET OF AREA INSIDE AND EASY TO LOAD! There's extra cargo space when you need it, portion of the floor behind the driver's seat drops down 61/2 inches to enable you to take on unusually large loads. TWO TYPES OF SEATS AVAILABLE. A comfortable single seat, teel-sheathed at the rear for your protection, s standard in Sedan Delivery models. Also offered, s an extra-cost option, s a luxurious full-width passenger car front seat.
