Up for sale is our 1972 Chevelle. This car is one of a kind and definitely not for the faint of heart. The motor was conservatively Dyno tuned by Pat Musi to 772hp and 669 lb/torque. With more advancement of the timing and allowing it to rev beyond 6500rpm, his motor could have been allowed to push into the low 800's but we wanted a very safe, ependable and conservative pump gas tune. Damn near everything on this vehicle is new. This car was completed less than a year ago and the car/drivetrain have less than 200 Miles on it. The engine is a Dart 540ci block that has been bored .30 over to produce 547ci with 10.5:1 compression. It has Dart heads and a dominator carberator. The exhaust flows through 2 1/8" powder coated headers to 3.5" exhaust that runs the entire length of the car. It starts up and runs with no issues. It has a remote vacuum pump to feed the brake booster due to the very large cam. The motor has a Jessel Valvetrain and has been blueprinted and balanced with mallory metal. No expense was spared in the building of this motor. I have over 20K invested in the motor alone. I can expand on the specs of the motor if needed. The motor is backed by a race-built turbo 400 with a 3500 stall converter and a ratchet style hurst shifter that maintains a forward pattern. An all aluminum Denny's driveshaft connects the transmission to a 12 bolt rear. The rear has a locker with 4.11 gears and 31 spline Strange axles. The work on the rear was done very neatly and precisely and does not leak axle fluid at the ends like most locked rears with C-Clip eliminators. The rear suspension is a custom Dick Miller Racing set up with adjustable upper and lowers and QA1 adjustable shocks. The front suspension, ncluding ball joints and all bushings, re all brand new as well with GM Big Block springs. Some features about inside the vehicle (all brand new): -Carpeting -headliner -reupholstered rear bench seat, ery pliable vinyl similar to a leather in feel -Recaro Racing buckets with 4 point racing harness, ever attached the fifth point but can include it with the sale. -Autometer Tachometer, il pressure and temperature gauge. -Pioneer roll down head unit, ony Speakers -Billet steering column and steering wheel. - The MSD ignition is mounted to the floorboard on the passenger side under the dashboard. -6 Point roll bar Outside the vehicle, ll the chrome is new and the paint shines brightly. The hole cut in the hood was cut with such tight clearances that it appears as if it was designed that way. It is currently outfitted with Billet Specialties Racing Wheels and BF Goodrich tires in the front and 325 Drag Radials in the rear. The inner wheel well on the rear was rolled very neatly to accommodate the very large skins. The inner wheel wells in the front are brand new. The car was built for me to keep forever. I did not spare any expense nor cut any corners. This car was built to have ungodly amounts of power yet still be street driven. This was built the way I wanted and for me to keep. It has NEVER been to the track or raced on the street! I am selling the car because I cannot bear to see it sit. I do not drive it nearly as much as I should. I want it to go to a good home, o someone who will respect it and maintain it with the care that my family and I have. It has always been garage kept in a climate controlled environment, overed with soft clean sheets. The only con I can think of is there are a few small blemishes in the paint, he paint is well over 20 years old. There is a small chip in the paint on both doors as shown in the pictures. There are some small dents that look like something fell inside the wheel well from the trunk long before I got the car. And the rear corner above the chrome bumper there is a blemish as well. All of which I can provide close up photographs of and cannot be seen from a few feet away. The only other Con is that this car is so extremely powerful. 772 Horse is just a number until you are behind the wheel. Unless you are very experienced, t is unlike anything you have ever driven before. The power is raw and violent and the car can easily get away from you if you are unfamiliar with this type of vehicle. For this reason there will be no test drives, cannot take any chances. I will gladly take someone, ith cash in hand, or a drive. I do not need to sell this car, am choosing to sell it. Please do not low ball me. I am a private seller, ot a business, o there is no implied warrantee. Please check out my pictures carefully. I want you to be happy with this car and have no surprizes. The sale is final. I have a 100% rating on all my previous sales which includes quite a few cars and trucks sold from my collection. I have additional pictures of the body, nterior and undercarraige upon request. Please feel free to ask any questions. I prefer a PayPal deposit within 48hrs of the close of the sale. The balance can be cash, ertified check drawn on a U.S. bank, owever, he car and my paperwork will not be released until payment is clear. The successful buyer will also need to make his/her own arrangements to relocate the Chevelle at his/her own expense within a reasonable time period that we would previously agree upon. I would also be willing to store the Chevelle for a nominal charge if necessary. I have an open and enclosed car trailer and would be willing to transport the Chevelle for a fee depending on the distance. If you are local and wish to check the Chevelle out, ou are welcome. One final note. Because of the fact that I have been very accommodating with prior vehicle sales, have been stiffed a couple of times, herefore the deposit is non-refundable if the successful buyer backs out. I also reserve the right to block or eliminate any bidder with a rating which I feel is questionable. Thank you.
