You are bidding on a early 1968 Z28 Camaro with cowl plenum, .10 gears and headers . I have the original owner manual and the original Protect-O-Plate Documenting the cars authenticity. The car was built 1st week of January, 967. The car left the factory with the following factory options: Z28 Perfomance package 302 V8 Engine 4 speed manual transmission AM Radio with push button 4.10:1 Posi trac rear end Power Steering Power Disc Brakes Cordovan Marron White Stripes Parchment Vinyl Top Parchment Deluxe Interior Simulated Wood Steering Wheel Console with gauges Tachometer. Second owner was friends with the original owner and said the Cowl Plenum Air Cleaner and Headers were on the car since new. I have a really good owner history of the car. The car sold new at Roger Dean Chevrolet in West Palm Beach Florida, o Earnest F. Nicholas of Jensen Beach Florida on February 2, 968. He kept the car until around 1986 when he sold it to Fred Nicholas in Stuart Florida. He had the car repainted and moved to Maggie Valley North Carolina in the mid to late 1980's. He sold the car to Hall Grayson Lance also near Maggie Valley North Carolina in 1999, ho sold it to James Wayne Woody of Burnsville North Carolina. I purchased the car from a James Wayne Woody in 2010. The car had remained untouched since the repaint in 1986 until I started to take it apart 4 years ago. It has all the factory gauges. It is all matching numbers including the born with MO 302 motor, nd born with transmission, he original Muncie shifter, he original alternator, he original carburetor, the original cowl plenum air cleaner, riginal BV coded 4.10:1 rear axle, he original fan blade, fan clutch, an shroud, ll 5 original wheel, he original exhaust manifolds, smog pump and brackets. The car starts and runs great and is drivable. The car has never been wrecked. This is just a great car that needs restored. All of the original stainless for the top of the doors, indshield and rear window, rip rail mouldings, nd rocker spears, ave been re-polished. The front fenders are genuine GM fenders and they are in finish primer and a set of Genuine GM doors are also in finish primer. The car has the original quarters on it. There is a new set of seat covers from Distinctive industries. There is a lot of parts that go with the car as you can see from the pictures, ncluding the original Jack, nd front and rear bumpers. This car does have some rust but it is not a rusty car. Please feel free to call for details. I also have 2 gallons of PPG Lacquer Cordovan Marron paint and quart of white Lacquer paint for the stripes as well as the correct modern primer PPG recommends to paint lacquer over. Please look at the pictures and feel free to email or call Jason Thompson at 865-621-4012 with any questions. This is a great car and very hard to find this well documented. The car is currently located in Rutledge TN.
