Up for auction is this 1973 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible in good condition! This is a really FUN car to own and drive. It turns heads everywhere you go!
The car has been owned, maintained, and driven by a car collector for the past 12 years. When he first bought it he had all of the chrome trim pieces professionally removed and polished. While that was being done - he went ahead and had the entire car's paint professionally stripped and repainted to the beautiful green color you see in the pictures. The convertible top leather was also professionally replaced and is in great condition. Dual exhaust was also added to give the big 500ci V8 a deeper (not obnoxious) rumble! It drives "like a boat" - floating/cruising on down the highway to tailgates, car shows, and everywhere in between. This car even has the factory radio and 8-track player!
Unfortunately this 46-year-old car does have it's minor imperfections. While it is equipped with A/C - it currently does not blow cold air. This was never a big issue as the car is driven with the top down 99% of the time. Additionally, the powered convertible top does not currently work. The top can be put up and down manually quite easily. Again, this was never a big issue as the car is driven with the top down 99% of the time, and the top is stored down under the parade boot covers. There is a small (1") tear in the driver side arm rest. There are dents in front quarter-panels above the tire wells - see pictures. We anticipate a good dent repair technician can straighten them out with ease.
After many years of enjoyment, the owner has recently decided to let it go to someone else that will enjoy and drive the car even more. Don't miss out on such a great opportunity on an American Classic!
The car is located in Jacksonville, FL and has been garage kept since ownership. Clean FL title. Buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping.
