1956 CADILLAC LIMOUSINE 7533X
Sold new to the Spanish Government along with several other Cadillacs for the use of the Government under the dictatorship of Generalismo Francisco Franco who ruled the Spanish Governmentfrom 1939-1975.
This vehicle was found and acquired by an American car collector in late 1970's along with some others that were in a Spanishgovernment impound facility. The car was broughtto the US and was sold to a 1956 Cadillac expert and collector from Wyoming where it underwenta thorough restoration with the exception of the front drivers compartment which is all original and in exceptional condition.
Currentmileage in Kilometers shows the car with 59,000 KM, which is approximately 36,000 US miles on this very unique vehicle

Rear tail finswere dropped and appears the rear quarter were extendedand or the trunk shortened to allow for the spare tire unit to fit within the body lines
We are not sure when these modificationswere done. Having looked inside the headlight bucket area we were very impressed with the craftsmanship
The vehicle runs very nicely. Shifts well, good brakes, working antenna, all interiorand exterior lights also are working.
We have been recentlytold that Government officials including Franco preferredto travelin Cadillacs when theyhad to go some distance as opposed to the usual Rolls Royce's that were used in variousparades
