This car displays an incredible 8. 29 miles and is a one-family owned vehicle. originally owned by a Cadillac dealer and given to his son (Reed Cadillac-Olds in Waterloo. Iowa). This car has been kept stored indoors and is one of the best original examples out there. This Cadillac Eldorado is ready for another loving home. The car has recently been inspected mechanically and the brake system gone through along with the cooling system this summer with verifying receipts over $3. 00. There has been minor paint touch-up done. notably to the rear quarter panel insert areas on this survivor. There is a shallow crease/dent along the driver's side quarter panel from some long ago rub. near the Eldorado emblem photographed above. It doesn't really show in photographs. you have to look closely for it. The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the location for many of our photos. Open the doors to 1976. The interior is original and in excellent condition. The leather remains supple and has excellent color. The power seat function works as it should. The dash. steering wheel. and instruments are in excellent condition. The carpeting is clean and detailed. original as is the carpeted rubber mat. All of the factory markings and trim is vivid and indicative of the low mileage. The door panels are original and in excellent condition as are the door undersides. The original door identification tag is very clear and intact. Under the hood is the factory 500 cubic inch V8. displaying original components and finishes throughout. The block paint is mostly intact as are the decals and identifying marks. This is a smooth running engine. This car is an absolute pleasure to drive. The engine compartment displays all original components. including the firewall. inner fenders and core support. The radiator was recently replaced along with the radiator hoses. The white convertible top is in great shape. fully functional and complete with the glass rear window & defrost. The interior top frame is in excellent condition as well. The matching parade boot fastens into place securely. The factory Cadillac wheels & caps are fitted with newer updated Michelin 235/75R15 whitewall radial tires all around. The undercarriage is original and un-detailed. Much of the original paint has worn off and there is surface rust. but nothing serious. The braking system was recently attended to with one caliper replaced. a brake line. and the master cylinder booster replaced. The underbody displays the original flooring and framework throughout. The bumper inserts are in very good condition. There is some minor damage/deterioration to the right fiberglass panel. below the trunk lid Eldorado emblem. photographed above. Again. this is an original car. never restored and still in excellent condition. The trunk power close is functional. The trunk itself is all original and complete with the spare tire/wheel and jacking equipment. The original decals are intact throughout.
