Here is a rare 1962 Cadillac Park Avenue -- one of only 2600 out of 160000 Cadillac's for 1962. Rare indeed. Being that this is a Texas car (Brownsville from documents) it is very solid and for the most part rust free; although there are a few minor bubbles in the paint, and a small hole on the front of the hood. The gun metal gray metallic is very nice, but not perfect, and not original. The newer carpeting and gray leather is like new. According to the body code. The original color was Olympic White with White leather interior. The chrome I believe is original and is in great condition. This Cadillac is loaded with options, power windows, and seats. cruise control, electric eye, air conditioning and more. All the windows work, but on the drivers side panel you have to press down a little on the rear switches, The power seat doesn't not function, although the motor seems to work. I haven't tried the cruise control, but I assume it doesn't work. The radio and power antenna does work. A lot of money and work has gone into this car. All the suspension and front end parts have been replaced, as have most of the air conditioning components; the compressor appears to be original. and functions as it should, although it has been converted to A34... it's doesn't blow cold. The heat does seem to work. Mechanically it runs very well and shifts as should I believe. It has a new re- manufacture carburetor. The correct Rochester 4brrl. The original goes with the car. She drives down the road tight and straight. The tires are newer as is the gas tank... Although the gas gauge doesn't work properly. The odometer is not working so the true mileage is unknown. I don't know what else to say. If you have any question please ask.
