1954 Cadillac Eldorado, Convertible, rust free Arizona car

1954 Cadillac Eldorado, convertible. This is an early 54 with wing windows instead of vent windows. The car came from Arizona, and I can find no rot or rust. This car had the same owner since the 60’s. It was put in storage in the early 70’s and that is where it stayed until the owner started restoring the car 10 years ago. He rebuilt the transmission, engine, carburetor, generator, water pump, and brakes. He also replated the rear bumper. The rest of the chrome is nice original. It looks like the front end was rebuilt, along with the u-joints. The car also has a new gas tank. I put a new filter in the engine added oil, filled the trans and fired the car up and drove it out of the garage. It runs great, I have not put fluid in the brake system yet, but it is all new. The wire wheels are nice original 40 spoke wheels. Unfortunately, he passed away before he could finish the car.

I had new top cylinders, and top hoses put on along with a new top. This is an original Aztec red car. The only thing I see missing is the Eldorado script for the trunk and that is available reproduction. This is a rare car that could be put on the road in short order.
