Car description

1967 Buick GS 400 You are viewing a very nice original GS 400. This car has been carefully cared for and primarily original with some restoration. 72K original miles and garaged all it life the car is very presentable and a very nice driver. As you may be aware there are few available aftermarket parts for Buicks so it in order to have a presentable car you need a nice survivor. This car is rust free and well cared for. Only a couple surface rust areas that is normal for an unrestored car.

Please read on for more particulars of the car Body/Paint: The body and paint are original and unrestored. Some touch up has been done on the paint in a few small areas. Very nice and presentable and shines well. No crazing in the paint. It shows that this car was a long time one owner and garaged it entire life. The vinyl top is original and in very good condition with no bubbles under the top. It is in really good shape and very presentable. Interior: The front seats have been recovered as original as well as the carpet and package shelf replaced. The rest of the interior is original in very good to excellent condition for its age. Super nice and clean with the headliner rear seat dash console and the rest of the interior original to the car. PS PB power trunk and rear window defroster. The steering wheel and dash is super nice as well as the console. Non original console tach. Aftermarket under dash gauge cluster.

Running Gear: Original to the car with the engine rebuilt with added nice street cam headers MSD ignition. No original air cleaner. Runs excellent. The transmission is rebuilt with a shift kit. Rear end is stock and works as it should.

Suspension: Stock with shocks replaced and other maintenance over the years. Drives well with nice steering feel for the day. The frame and underside is in really good shape with only surface rust in a couple of spots.

Brakes: PB in great working order.

Exhaust: Custom 3 inch exhaust with scavenger headers and custom mufflers. This car is one of the best sounding muscle cars I have ever heard. The cam just adds to the sound.

Bright work: Original in good to very good condition. Some ware in places but overall very presentable on the outside. The interior bright and detail work particularly the dash is in excellent condition.

Glass: Original in very good condition

Wheels/Tires: Aftermarket stock wheels with great rubber. Summary: If you are seeking a vintage Buick that is mostly original and shows well this car is worthy of your consideration. A car that needs nothing and runs excellent. It is affordable as well compared to other muscle cars in the same class. Don’t let this car pass you by if you are considering a 67 GS 400.
