Up for sale is a very customized 1965 Buick Wildcat. I have swapped in a mild built Chevy 454 with a th400 transmission. The engine is a 1973 block and heads. the heads were rebuilt and mildly ported. has head studs. new rockers. lifters. pushrods. comp cams thumpr cam. new water pump. alternator. edelbrock intake. edelbrock 1411 750cfm carb. hei distributor. shorty headers and many other upgrades I'm forgetting. The oil pan is custom made. it holds about 8 qts but its pretty low to the ground. Thats the 1 thing I wish I could do over again. The th400 tranny has a 10" 3000 stall torque convertor from jegs. The car has new disc brakes all around. new springs and shocks. rear upper and lower UMI tubular control arms. a rear sway bar. Ford 9" rear with ford trac loc and 3. 50:1 gears. It does have a Rostra cruise control unit that worked last year but for some reason. when I took the car out for the first time since winter it wasn't working. So I'm not sure where the problem is with that. It has an in-tank electric fuel pump from tanksinc. I use a self regulated corvette style filter but there is also a fuel pressure regulator to reduce it further for the carburetor. A large aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and aluminum shroud keep things cool. It has a/c from vintage air. just needs 2 lines made and charged up and it will be ready to go. The exhaust is pypes stainless exhaust that exit through the quarter panels for a pretty sweet look. The wheels and tires are brand new. 15x8 chevy rally wheels. with cooper cobras up front and nitto drag radials out back. The exterior of the car is pretty nice. the drivers side front fender is dented and there are a few rust bubbles on the hood. Its not perfect but its a great looking car for its age. It has lots of stainless steel trim that really sets it off with the beautiful astro blue metallic paint. The underside has no rust and has been undercoated with a high quality undercoating. not that cheap rattle can stuff. The interior is very nice. It has new carpet. new Autometer american muscle gauges. a hidden stereo where the ashtray used to be. it has bluetooth. and satellite radio but no cd player. It has a powered subwoofer and amp for the door speakers which sounds great. The trunk has been cleaned up and trimmed out with panels and carpet. I have fitted a wideband O2 sensor with gauge to help tune the carb and keep an eye on things while running. I may remove it however if I don't get what I'm asking for the car. The car drives great. runs well and looks great. Its a fun car to load the family up and and take for a cruise. I drive the car daily in the summer. I took it on the power tour last summer to North Carolina and it did wonderful. I have invested nearly $20. 00 in this car(including the price of the car when I purchased it). I know I'm not going to get out of it what I've put into it but thats how it goes when building a car for yourself. Its time for a new project so I'm willing to take a hit on this to get it gone. I'm not desperate to sell it but I'm as close to giving it away as I could possibly be. I may be interested in trades with cash but they gotta be cool. such as a wrx. or a can am spyder. I'm not interested in rat rods. or motorcycles or 4x4's or atv's. I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton of things but if you have any questions. feel free to text me. Matt 3194231555.
