Car description

With the value of the turbo Buicks skyrocketing lately, a car like this 1986 Buick Grand National is a true find. With this sleek coupe so well presented and offered at an obtainable price, it's the stealthy black machine that you know is also a red-hot commodity.
You already know the legend. General Motors had a short run of Buick coupes that looked mean and had the performance to back it all up. Its Regal siblings have a great creased appearance that instantly conveys a feeling of premium. But where they liked to use chrome to make a statement, this one reserves the brightwork only for the wheels. That sends a very different message. The blacked-out trim, the bulging hood, and the subtle ducktail spoiler all give this car a look that demands respect. And the black paint was recently wet sanded and buffed to deliver a high-gloss finish that commands attention no matter if its radiating in the Sunday sunshine or the midnight moonlight. There are even nice details, like new bumper filler panels and newer BF Goodrich T/A with less than 2k miles on them.
The correct black and gray bucket seats up front do a terrific job of balancing out the Buick's comfortable image with extra bolstering for the Grand National's added performance. Plus, the well-kept condition of these seats, door panels, and headliner lets you know this has been a well-respected coupe for quite some time. As a true high-end Buick, this comes loaded with all the best features. It includes a power driver's seat, power windows, power locks, cruise control, power steering, the factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, and cold-blowing air conditioning. In fact, the only amenity we can spot that's not factory is the cup holder center console. It looks and feels great, but purists can easily remove it. The three-spoke sports steering wheel on the tilt column is designed to give you a clear view to the full gauge package with large speedo and cool horizontal tach.
Under the hood is the correct 3.8-liter fuel-injected V6 turbo motor, and this is even believed to be original to the car. It looks great where there's even new hood insulator that helps announce this special motor when you open it up at the car shows. But the real story here is the big investment all around the engine bay. The motor was pulled, cleaned, and serviced. It includes new pieces like the seals, valve springs, water pump, plugs, wires, coil, and ignition. The important mighty turbo is now a new TE44 with a new boost actuator and 42lb injectors. Black Maxx Hedman headers let this powerhouse exhale with authority. The numbers-matching four-speed automatic was rebuilt with shift kit and GS Club street converter. So one of the most potent motors of the '80s is now even stouter. Plus, you have a new brake booster for the power brakes, front discs, sway bars front & rear, and new lowering springs to give you a great package for the streets.
Complete with owner's manual, you're looking at one of the most desirable machines from the 1980s. And you already know the price doesn't get any better for a complete and well-invested Grand Nationals. So this is a case of call us today, or you might regret it tomorrow!
