Rare - 1934 Buick club sedan - Original Survivor car
This car is a great driving car. Feels more solid then my Packard. The car was found after a long storage and serviced as needed for use.
Recent tune up, oil change, coolant, fluids and new tires and battery. The carburetor was rebuilt, full chassis lube and filled the shocks. Brakes were inspected and service. The power brakes work great, stops well for a heavy car.
This is a turn key driver as is, Lights, horn gauges and yest he fuel gauge work. Suspension ans steering are tight. What else to do ? I would remove the running boards and heave them re-vulcanized. No water leaks if caught in the rain. No rust found anywhere on the body and all the wood is amazing. All the door open and close well and even the back doors are very solid
The paint is mostly original, has nicks and some thin spots, looks good from 10 feet. The interior is great for over 70 years old. There was a interior cover kit installed at the dealer, still on rear doors, seat and the upper part of front seat. It was thin and removed from the lower front seat. When I explore under the covers I find the original fabric in good condition with no holes. I have not removed it, I think it adds to the cars story.
The heater was bypassed years again, has small exhaust leak at manifold to head. No oil drips and no smoke from tail pipe. Windows roll up and down well.
Inspections and road test are welcome. And phone calls pacific time 8 am to 9 pm Steve 206-755-3420
