1938 Buick Special 4 Door Below you will find the description of this 1938 Buick Special 4 Door. It is written by it's current owner and the client for whom I'm listing this automobile.I have built something over 250 cars in my life. This car is absolutely the most complete car that I have ever come across. For the past 14 years I owned and operated KR Hotrods in Mountain Home, daho. This Buick belonged to one of my employees who got it from his father. Unfortunately I got the Buick because my employee passed away and I acquired it from his wife. It even had the original owner's manual with the car. It was my intention to "HotRod" the Buick and I have assembled several pieces towards that type of project. However, still have everything that came with the car and nothing has been cut or modified at this point. Several things that can be purchase along with the car is a slightly used GM "Ram Jet" 350 Fuel Injected V8 along with the engine control management harness and the stand alone ECM. I also have a complete Chrysler power sunroof that was cut out of a 2001 Chrysler Sebring. I have several sets of seats including the power leather seats that are in the pictures. For the past 25 years my wife and I also owned and operated Performance Chevrolet Buick GMC. Several months ago I sold the franchise business and had to relocate the Hotrod business and also have dismissed my two full time employees. Although I am going to continue to build a few cars for myself I will not have the room, ime and employees to finish this outstanding Buick with suicide doors. The only small area of rust on this entire NW car (original sold in Spokane, ashington) was in the very lower portion of the rear sheet metal on the driver's side. The pictures should adequately show the small size of the repair. The rest of the entire car and fenders are rust free. When I purchased this Buick it was already dis-assembled by my previous employee. When I mentioned how complete it is, have no way of verifying that every single little piece is there. However moving it I rummaged through the boxes and it was amazing to find every detail of the car. Door panels, eats, oldings, inges, ipers, egulators, uspension, teering wheel, olumn, rame, ights, tc. The previous owner had already had new glass cut for the entire car. I noticed a while back that one glass had cracked. Keep in mind that 100% of the glass in this Buick is "Flat". Obviously some of the bright work (stainless and chrome) will need to be refinished and chromed, owever, ll pieces are in very, ery nice condition.This listing does not include the motor, ransmission or rear axle.
