Here is one great car to start your next hot rod or restoration. This was a one owner car since new prior to our ownership. These cars are getting rare and make a beautiful hot rod lowered! The last picture shows how wonderful these cars look finished. This is a 1938 Buick Special 2 door sedan. It has the original straight 8 and 3 spd manual transmission that was running a year and a half ago. The original owner took the car to a very reputable hot rod shop to have it restored. The car was taken apart, everything bagged and labeled and the car taken to bare metal. All of the metal work has been done and all rust repaired with the exception of one small spot on the front of the right side fender. All fenders where reinstalled with new fasteners. The floors are rust free and all of the trunk area has new metal or was rust free. The seats are in great condition and not torn. The frame is good. A couple pieces of glass will need replaced but all the glass is here. There are pictures of all the parts and boxes of parts to put the car back together. The only pieces missing are a small piece of side trim for the cowl. The spare original wheels and tire are included as well. All garnish moulding, gauges, handles etc are boxed and labeled. The head light buckets are near perfect!!These cars are beautiful done, just look at the last picture. There are also a couple of pictures of the car before the restoration started. The car restoration was stopped due to a family conflict. This is a great start for the next owner. Hard to find these cars in a 2 door body.Low reserve.... less than what the metal work alone cost.
