1988 BMW E30 325i Late model Lachssilber M-Technik 2 Sedan

1988 BMW E30 325i M-Technik 2 Lachssilber metallic late model sedan for sale. The car is a European market version with the original M-Technik 2 package. Produced in July of 1988. It has spent most of it`s lifetime in Germany. but was imported into Latvia several years ago as a hobby car. Although it has a relatively average mileage. the car was looked after and there are no major issues with it. apart from the rust. Technical specs:M20B25 engine with 170 PS & 164lbs of torque. works really nice and smooth. Limited slip differential. big case 188mm. works great. 5 speed manual transmission in good shape. has a quite sharp clutch to give you that sporty feel. Full M-Technik sport suspension from the factory. Exterior equipment:OEM M-Technik 2 kit: two piece spoiler. side skirts. door panels. rear bumper. front bumper upper. but the lower part - unfortunately. is aftermarket. 15 inch MIM alloy wheels. width 7J ET13Headlight washers and wipers(need refurbishing. have another set for parts)Manual sunroof (no leaks)Shadow line trimElectrically adjustable & heated side mirrorsOEM fog lights (cracked glass)Interior equipment:M-Technik 1 steering wheelM-Technik rear view mirror with reading lights. Quality sound equipment. but missing the radio head. Good sides:The car runs. drives and handles well. the engine is quiet. but when you want to feel the power. the noise is there to show it. the original exhaust makes it a pleasure to rev high. There are no issues with the paperwork and there should be no problems to register it elsewhere. The are no issues with the electrics. central locking works and so does the alarm. The instrument cluster works good. the idles work. there are no removed bulbs to hide issues. the check control and reading lights also work. Seat mechanisms work. the carpet is not ripped. the headliner is solid. the interior just needs a good clean and it will be great. The car has not had major accidents. the body is good and straight. but there is some rust issues. Imperfections:The car has been standing for quite a time. so there is rust in a few places outside and underneath. (needs welding)The biggest issues is the driver side floor. the left side seat mounts are rusted out. couple of other places are going to need welding sooner or later. The suspension needs maintenance. as it's been sitting idle for so long. The front M-Tech bumper needs repairs. since it does have a noticeable crack. The dashboard has been damaged. but I will give a good spare dashboard along with the car. Usual scratches here and there on the perimeter as any 20+ year old car. I`m selling the car because I have 7 other E30`s that need my time and work. But don`t get me wrong. I care for this car and the price I`m asking is what I want. if there will not be any serious inquiries. I will keep the car and make it the way a M-Technik trimmed vehicle should be and enjoy it myself. Since I`m a E30 enthusiast. I would like to see someone else have a project and make it the way they want it. the options are limitless. The asking price is about the same as cost of the more interesting parts on the car. The asking price is for the car itself only. The dashboard will be added free of charge for the new owner. I can add spares at no cost or for a bargain price. I can put on different wheels. the already mentioned seat swap and etc. Since I own a BMW car shop. I can fix the car completely at the buyers expense or whatever you might want. I can pretty much make anything a reality. regarding this car. With that I mean: full poly bushing suspension; coil overs; 5X120 wheel swap; M20 stroker. 30. 50. 52. 54. 60. 62 any V8 engine swaps and much more. The car is in the center of Riga. Latvia and can be easily transported to the port or any mainland highway to transport elsewhere. I will help the new owner with the shipping of the vehicle. Also. as far as I know. shipping it to US(Port of New Jersey) in a freight container is about 1500 USD. Viewing is definetly welcome and recommended.
