History of the car1989 BMW 325I E30 RWD four door w/ 5sp manual transmission- 100% original and unmolested with original M20B25 motor. FYI four doors have better structural rigidity than coupes, hich is evident when driving twisty roads...Absolute head turner, truly beautiful BMW classic than can be used as a reliable daily driver without hesitation or just for Sunday fun, get compliments on a regular basis.I purchased this car on March 2014. I'm the third owner. The car was originally sold by BMW of San Antonio TX, nd entered PR in 1999. It was previously owned by a postman that seldom drove it and had it stored in a garage and drove it only on Sundays. I am a member of the local chapter of the BMW Car Club of America and other members can vouch for the condition of the car.OptionsOriginally came with manual sunroof, ower windows, ower locks, ruise control, nd fog lights. The two front power windows were repaired recently, he rear window motors are ok but the cabling needs to be repaired.I replaced the original 14" "bottle caps" with aprofessionallyrestored set of OEM Euroweaves BMW BBS 15" wheels ($800) with matching Yokohama S-drive tires ($500), hich give the car a very nice stance, lso a front original "is" valence was installed ($200). ExteriorThe body is straight on every panel. The VIN numbers match everywhere. The car had a respray done by the previous owner and when clean it has a nice deep shine. The door and bumper blackmoldingswere painted in gloss black by the previous owner. The car was parked for several years in a garage and it looks that way. I installed a set of original Bosch European version headlights ("smileys") ($250). Also, here are no rust issues (under the battery, enders, ockers, nd tail lights, here almost all others have rot are perfect on this car). If you would like to see more close-up pics of any area, can email these. The exterior is 8/10...very few minor imperfections can be seen at close-up on the hood and side panels. It hassmall ding (2 inches) in the trunk lid left corner that occurred in 2007. There is another tiny ding. -almostunnoticeable- (0.5 in)on the front right fender. In the last 2 monthsthe painton 3 small areas of thesunroof area developed bubbles.InteriorThe interior of the car is all original and in very good condition for its age. I installed restored sport seats ($1000): frame, oam, nd every single nut and bolt, nd matching cloth kit purchased directly from BMW, he seats werereinforced professionallywith solder points in the weak areas. The rear seat has little usage throughout the cars life. The carpet is clean and the mats are rubber BMW floor mats. The headliner is original and it is in 8/10 condition with no sagging areas. The dash has no cracks and is conditioned with 303 UV protectant regularly.Theinstrumentcluster was also reconditioned with new bulbs and a new battery andthe odometer and mile counter were repaired. A restored M-tech steering wheel was also installed ($150) I also installed a BMW reverse RDS radio from 1991 to keep console looking clean and original ($80). This car comes with the original full size spare in the trunk with the original "bottle cap" wheel.A/C was converted to r134a and it works well. The car comes with the 2 original keys and the radio code.MechanicalMore than $3000 in mechanical work has been put into this car during the last year with receipts. The car currently has an estimated of 130K miles with the original M20 motor. The motor runs as strong as ever. Recent oil analysis shows no concerns. The new clutch, aired with a new set of pedals, hifter bushings and drive shaft, elivers power to the wheels nicely. As far as the car's needs: overall it's a turn-key car that can be driven anywhere. Also, he wiper seemed to be acting up a little last time I used them, t seems to be a matter of just cleaning the ground contact on the base of the lever. The caralso recently passed the emissions inspection as well as the inspection for the local classic car license plate, he car is 25 years old.Full maintenance history click here:maintenance.LARGER PHOTOS AND A VIDEO OF THE ENGINE RUNNING CAN BE SEEN HERE:Pics&video DETAILS & TERMS:
