RW Auto Classics is so proud to offer our 1988 BMW E30 M3 up for sale. This is one clean m3 and doesn't seem to have been abused or tracked. We actually purchased the car from a good friend who is a collector and he mostly stored it for an investment and the occasional Sunday drive. The previous owner before him is also a collector who performed routine maintenance to keep her in top running shape. This car really does show a history of meticulous ownership throughout the last 30 years to preserve her in this type of condition.
The body on the car looks beautiful in silver and shows quite nicely. Those are real Fikse wheels and look fantastic; sadly I do not have the originals. There are various small rock chips and a scratch or two but nothing major and does little to detract from the overall appearance. This is a very straight car and panel gaps all look nice and line up well. I see zero rust evident anywhere on the body or underneath, not even in the dreaded windshield where rot frequents these cars so often. Overall the exterior condition is definitely ready for a local show and will be nicer than most!
The interior of this E30 is fantastic. No cracks on the dash, the seats are beautiful, as are the door panels. Power windows work, radio works, sunroof works, everything seems to work minus the AC needing a recharge. The interior on this BMW is definitely above average and shows extremely nice.
The engine bay is just how it was intended to be! Nothing aftermarket that I see, and all has been left stock! A ton of these cars have had so many mods so it's pretty rare to find one in nice original shape. Engine sounds great and settles into a nice idle quickly. Tranny shifts through the gears smoothly. Driving this car really is a ton of fun as it feels so well balanced.
All in all, this is a wonderful collector quality E30 m3. And the good ones have been appreciating steadily for years. She's not a 100 point concourse car, but who would want to drive that anyway? This is a super nice well maintained driver that's ready to go! Please feel free to call with any questions, and good luck bidding.
