This is a car with excellent potential for someone with some car knowledge or looking for a project. It is a rare car with a lot of features as it was way ahead of its time. The MSRP of the car back in the late '80's was approximately $70,000!
Please note that this car needs moderate to major mechanical and/or electrical work. Currently, the car will not turn on or run. There is some type of electrical issue preventing the car from turning over. I have a new battery in it but it will not work right now. It may be something simple like the starter or it may be more deep and electrical in nature. In addition, the a/c turns on but will not dispense cold air (only the fan works). I suspect the a/c issue to be electrical as I had some a/c system work done a couple years ago.
Cutting to the chase, this car is not for someone who wants to start driving on Day 1. You will need to put some time/work into it. That being said, it's a great value for a MASSIVE, FAST engine and a classic/vintage design. If I had more time and car knowledge, I would keep it as a fun side project. It is being sold as-is with no warranty or guarantees. You will need to pick the vehicle up in Katy, Texas, with a flat-bed trailer since it does not currently run.
