Car description |

WITH 296 V12 HORSEPOWER! The big Bimmer lets you blow past most of the cars on the road faster than they can ask, "What wasthat?"Its motivation comes from the same splendid 5.0-liter V-12 found under the hood of the 750iL sedan. This engine, as you may remember, specializes in smoothness and tranquility while developing 296 hp at 5200 rpm.
The 850i's strength is seamless power. Mated to a four-speed automatic the mighty V-12 catapulted our 850i from standstill like an F-16 being launched off a carrier.
Blast-off to 60 mph takes just 6.3 seconds, the quarter-mile dash is over in 14.9 seconds at 96 mph, and the speed doesn't stop coming until an electronic limiter steps in at 156 mph. Moreover, the V-12 delivers its power with aristocratic decorum. It's like having a giant, vibrationless, hydroelectric generator under the hood. The 850i's strength is seamless power.
Its fit and finish is sensational—leather soft and sweet-smelling—and it packs all of the luxury you could ask for. when you grab the door handles, a servo motor lowers the frameless front windows about a half-inch so they can clear the deep channels that lock them firmly in place at autobahn speeds. The trunk handle controls not a latch but a switch that engages a servo motor thatreleases the latch. The steering column tilts and telescopes electrically. More computing power is employed for the cruise control, the climate control (with dual thermostats, one each for the driver and the passenger, the anti-lock brakes, the traction-control system, and the 850i's computer‑controlled throttle linkage. The 850i is a work of art and considerably cheaper than even a Matisse pencil sketch.
IT IS A RARE BMW
AS WELL DUE TO BEING HEAVILY OPTIONED FROM THE FACTORY. THE CONDITION FOR THE MILEAGE IS GREAT, AND THE PRICE IS AWESOME, THIS CAR HAS BEEN SERVICED REGULARLY
FROM NEW ALL THE WAY THROUGH 119K+ MILES AT BMW SPECIALISTS. I MEAN IT; THE FIRST PERSON THAT CHECKS OUT THIS 850i WILL BUY IT. IT’S A GREAT COMBINATION OF COSMETICS, MECHANICALS, AND PRICE. Its service history is also VERY strong with lots of work done that YOU won’t have to do. That is a primary reason to buy this particular car. This 850i with its options almost topped $120K in 1991! With 296HP, it’s like a warp drive for the highways of planet earth.
This 850i has a clean title with no issues, and it has been an Arizona car since 1991, until I purchased it so it has stayed out of the northeast winter weather and I keep it covered when not driving it. All the things this car ever needed were done with an open checkbook No skimping. No stories, so please read on to find out more. -- Here she is in all her glory – The suspension has been refurbished and everything gone thru by my local BMW specialist.
