Selling my 91' e30 BMW 318is. I have personally taken a lot of pride bringing this beauty back to life after discovering it in a neighbors driveway a year ago. I've gone through nearly every component of the car and will try to be as thorough as possible in explaining what all is done.
Motor was gone through at aprox 191,000 miles and currently runs excellent. No smoke, no stutter, just performance. Transmission fluid was changed with Royal Purple at that time as well.
The exterior of the car was repainted 4 months ago and looks excellent. I would rate it a 9/10 if not higher. Only imperfection is a small ding that was missed near the passenger side rear bumper (not noticed by anyone but me so far).
The interior is in excellent shape. Front seats were re-upolstered in July, rear seat was cleaned up but looks good, dash had a few small cracks but now has a custom formed dash cap which made it look like new.
Here is a list of just some of what was replaced:New exhaust, new a/c, BC fully adjustable racing coil overs (lowered to the perfect height), short shifter, tubular headers, new IACV, new fuel filter, new fuel pump, new intake boot, new FPR, new wheels and tires from Bavarian Auto Sport, fully rebuilt gauge cluster, new power window switches, euro clock, new keyless entry system and a bunch more.
Everything in this car works as it was intended excluding the small list below:-Sunroof seal needs to be replaced (doesn't leak but is deteriorating). I didn't have the confidence to replace it myself and didn't feel the need to press the issue since it's water tight.-Headliner has a few small misc stains, also has a 1" tear near the center (see picture). (Figured it would be best to re-upolster that when the sunroof was removed to replace the seal).
Happy to answer an additional questions or send additional pictures. Just ask...
I've personally rebuilt a handful of e30's over the past 20 years and must say that this car has been by far my favorite. It honestly saddens me to let her go, but I have to make room in the garage for my next project. This car will make an excellent daily driver or collectible for someone who shares my passion for e30 BMW's. Bid with confidence, I am proud of my perfect feedback reputation.
