Offered is a very original, straight and solid 1964 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII BJ8, on behalf of a close family friend who owned it for 40 years. Original paint and body panels with excellent gaps.

Condition: Please see photos. Some areas of rust in the floor, trunk floor, along the passenger side front wing, trunk lid, and passenger rocker panel, all areas prone to rust on a Healey and easy to fix. The superstructure including frame rails and outriggers are extremely solid and straight.

This Healey has been sitting for some time under a tarp on the side of the house and as a result, shows age. Last we spoke, the owner stated it would run. The engine turns over by hand and the rocker valley is clean (pictured).
This Healey is mostly complete missing only a few minor items including the front seats, the rear seat back, air cleaners, windshield wiper arms, door cards (were deterioirated), and radio are also missing. These items are relatively easy to acquire. The exhaust pipe and mufflers were recently removed as they were too far corroded. Other than the aforementioned, this is a complete Healey which would be a very good candidate for restoration.

I can deliver the Healey to a shipping agent of your choice for $100 within 10 miles of Berkeley, Ca. otherwise, delivery to a shipping agent of the winner's choice is available at cost.
