Less than 1700 of this model came over to the US. This is the 90 Quattro model that won European rallies in the late 1980s and made Audi a respected international name. The specific 20v 2.3L engine is a fluke engine that will not die. As long as she has oil and coolant in her she will last forever. The previous owner wanted to turn her into a track car but didn't know what he was doing so I had to spend $2500 over the past years turning her back into a functional daily driver. I registered her as a historic car with QQ plates so you never have to worry about inspection any more. The interior upholstery needs to be cleaned up but the leather is in fantastic condition for a 25 year old car. Power everything including heated seats which get very toasty and very quickly. If you can find one of these (which is nearly impossible) they go for over $4,000 but I'm moving out of the country so I need to sell her quick. There are probably less than 300 of these on the road in the US at this point in history. Also, f you are local to the North Jersey/NYC area there are two mechanics, ne in Montclair (mine) and the other in Clifton, hat have expert intimate knowledge and experience with this rare as hell car.New:Power steering rackBrake pumpBrake boosterWheel bearingsSpark plugs and wire harnessTiresClutch master & slave cylindersTiming beltAlternator beltStock size 14" Sport Edition lightweight rimsNew ECM (engine control unit)Fixers:One coolant hose (to get the heat blowing warm again, was fine with the heated seats)AC lines (only lines need to be replaced, ompressor is perfect)Passenger side windowLeft headlight outCruise Control (if you're a cruise freak, prefer driving)Electrical short at fuse #14Check out these links for more gushing on how fantastic this model is:audi9020v dot com.automobilemag dot com slashfeatures slashcollectible_classic slash 1011_1990_1991_audi_90_quattro_20vAnd by the way, his car is meant for boosting...
