1961 Rambler American Convertible

With some sadness I'm selling my 1961 Rambler American Convertible as I'm just out of room.

This is a sweet little car that draws attention where ever I take it.

I just returned from a 200+ mile round trip to my home town and drove 50 - 60 MPH with no issues.

As you can see from the pictures the car is in exceptional condition and ALWAYS garaged.

It has MANY MANY new parts, have over $7,000.00 in receipts including a engine rebuild for $2,700.00.

I bought the car 5 - 6 years ago out of Florida (rust free)and the previous owner spent a bundle restoring the car.

I changed the generator to a alternator, dded a electronic ignition, brand new 2 barrel Webber carb and had it painted (4 years ago).

All the original parts are included.

The Bad:

The brake master cylinder failed and leaked on to the driver side carpet discoloring it, eplaced the master cylinder with a brand new unit and I have extra carpet

the valve on the heater is frozen and this never effected me as the heat can be turned off and on thru a lever.

Broken speedometer cable, eplacement is included.

A small paint chip on the driver door is in the pictures.

This is a 50+ year old car and I want you to be aware of that.

I'm in my 50's and NOT a used car salesman and I expect NO GAMES with selling this car and assure you that I'm on the up and up.

I'm so confident that I'll offer $500 for your time and effort if the car is not as described or pictured.
